David Lee Styles

Mr. David Lee Styles, 66, of Vilonia was called to the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2015. He was born March 14, 1949 in Bauxite, Arkansas to Robert V. Styles and Jewel Styles. David proudly served his country in the United States Marines and Army, retired. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart among many other service awards. Along with being a member at Friendship Baptist Church he was a veracious Razorback fan, loved his veterans, was a proud grandfather and enjoyed fishing. He served as Quartermaster at VFW post 2259. He touched so many lives and will be leaving a legacy to remember. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Nancy Riggin and brother Robert Styles. Survivors include his daughter, Alexis McEntyre (Joel) of Rogers, son, Heath Styles (Kristen) of Harrison, grandchildren, Owen, Paul, Chayce, Luke and Knox. Other survivors include a brother, Max Styles of Conroe, Texas and significant other Mary Ferguson of Vilonia. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church, 767 Rocky Point Road, Conway, Arkansas with Bro. Ken Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Graddy, Sam Latouche, Travis Scott, Darrell Green, Jerry Pruitt, Sid Pugh and Dean Riggin.
