Marvene Hoggard

Marvene Ruth Hutchison Hoggard, 77, of Searcy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2015. She was born July 12, 1937 in Egypt, Arkansas; growing up on the family cotton farm where she met her husband. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Brady Hoggard; their three children, Phil Hoggard (Judy) of Searcy, Kim Hoggard Himsteadt (Henry) of Cabot, and Brad Hoggard (Roxanne) of Collierville, Tenn.; and one sister, Gail Davis. She was known as Memar to her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Marvene was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Thelma Hutchison; a sister, Willa Dean Neely; and a grandson, Jay Wesley Hoggard. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 12 at Foothills Church of Christ in Searcy. Funeral Services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, also at the church. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Searcy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Foothills Church of Christ Building Fund.
