Peggy Long Sullivan

Peggy Long Sullivan, age 79, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015. She was born September 27, 1935 in Smackover, Arkansas. Mrs. Sullivan served in the U.S. Air Force and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Mable Long; husband, Leman R. Sullivan; son, Allen Sullivan; two grandchildren, John Paul Sullivan and Daniel Sullivan and seven brothers and sisters, Ouida Hogg, Leona Lotz, J.W. Oliver, Vera Fraser, Clara Massey, Margie Parks and Russell Long. She is survived by three sons, Ray Sullivan of Benton, John Sullivan (Teri) of Benton and Michael Sullivan (Penny) of Paris, Texas; one daughter, Eyllane Sullivan of Benton; daughter-in-law, Merri Sullivan of Benton; four brothers, Paul Long of El Dorado, Huey Long of Magnolia, Clarence Long of Rogers and Johnny Long of Silsbee, Texas; two sisters, Clarice Smith of Nederland, Texas and Marie Rogers of Port Neches, Texas; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 13 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 15 at Ashby Funeral Home.
