MSGT. Charles David Gurunian Sr., (Ret.) USAF, age 79, of Jacksonville passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. He was born September 7, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late David and Mary Gurunian. Mr. Gurunian served in the United States Air Force from May of 1953 until March of 1979, his medals included; the Meritorious Services Medal, AF Commendation Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Campaign Medals and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross. He is survived by his ex-wife Emily York, children; Mandy Rawdon and her husband Jeff, Susan Tanner, Charles Gurunian Jr., two ex sons-in-law, Barney Clark, David Tanner, one ex daughter-in-law, Kay Harden, one sister, Diane Torres and her family, one brother, Nazar Gurunian, six grandchildren, Trey Guruian, Jonathan Tanner, Kimberley Clark, Brittney Hinkle and her husband Jayke, Jessica Thompson and her husband Kyle, Tanner Clark and his wife Kendell, great-grandchildren; Brianna Abram, Dalton Abram, Sidney Hinkle, and Gatlin Thompson. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
