Junella Joy Williams, 89, of Conway was called to be with her Lord and Savior on June 11, 2015. She was born on February 17, 1926 in Wooster, Arkansas to the late Jesse Edward and Agnes Clements Williams. Joy worked on the family farm and played basketball for Greenbrier High School. She later married Walter "Bill" Williams on December 25, 1943 in Conway, Arkansas. Joy's working career began at US Times making Timex watches and later retired from the Child Nutrition Program at Conway School District. She was also an accomplished seamstress, quilter, cook, and enjoyed crocheting. Joy was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. Joy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Her friends and family, whom she dearly loved, pray she will now rest in eternal peace. Joy is also preceded in death by her sister, Eva; brothers, Newton, Gene, and Sam; and her husband, Billy. She is survived by her brother, Pete; sister, Nita; sons, Bill (Beverly) and Ed (Patsy); grandchildren, Tracee (Johnny), Heather (Price), Justin (Mandi), Jake (Janice), and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Laurel, Hannah, Garner, Hayden, Ethan, Evan, Emily, Madison, and Isabella. A Rosary will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. with visitation to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway and Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
