Harold L. Grimes

Harold L. Grimes, Aug. 10, 1929 – June 6, 2015. Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Harold L. Grimes, age 85, passed on Saturday, June 6, 2015 with his family at his side. Harold was born on Aug. 10, 1929 in Dardanelle, Ark. to Aubrey and Reba Grimes. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Will Edd Grimes. Harold is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet Grimes; daughter, Barbara Biri (Melvin); brother, Melvin Grimes (Anita); sister, Marilyn Bradshaw (Ernest); sister-in-law, Linda Grimes; grandchildren: Colleen Biri, Meredith Biri (Rebecca Sanchez), Branson Biri and Mitchell Biri; numerous nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends and neighbors. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the A&M Caregivers for their loving care of Mr. Grimes. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16th from 11 a.m. to 12/Noon at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave. with a service in the Chapel at 12/Noon followed by interment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
