Dorothy Parks

Dorothy Parks, 88 of Delight, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was born on September 3, 1926 the daughter of the late Arlie and Anna Belle Witt Johnson. She was a member of the Delight First Assembly of God. Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by her husband, I.D. Jerry Parks, a brother, Edward Johnson and a sister, Edna Johnson. Survivors include her son, Jerry Parks and wife Monica of Texarkana, Ark.; a grandson, Carson Parks of Texarkana, Ark.; one sister, Billie Jean Johnson of Amity, Ark.; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 19 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro, with Rev. Jerry Fagan officiating, burial will follow in Delight Cemetery.
