Howard Grant Ball of Maumelle, Arkansas, died while riding his bicycle on the Arkansas River Trail, June 15, 2015. Those who know and love Howard know that there is no other way Howard would have wanted to go. Howard was born to Willis H. and Dazel Ball on September 28, 1952, in Marlow, Oklahoma. Howard became an accountant by profession after graduating from University of Texas at San Antonio. Howard is survived by his wife of 15 years, Monica Pickrell Ball of Maumelle. Other survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Bevill, her husband Todd, and grandson, Zac of North Little Rock; and sons, Ross Davis of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Nathan Davis, with wife Heidi, and grandchildren, Jonah and Hannah of North Little Rock. Ball, Jr. with wife Janel, of Manitou Springs, Colorado, and Wayne Ball of Little Rock, Arkansas, and sister, Lynn Rutland, and her husband Randy, of San Antonio, Texas. Ball Sr. A memorial service will be held at The Summit Church at 6600 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock, on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 1 p.m. Visitation with the family will be from noon until 1 p.m. in the commons area at The Summit. Since Howard was an avid cyclist, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Recycle Bikes for Kids (recyclebikesforkids.org), a charity that provides free bicycles to young people. The family extends a sincere thank you to the people who attended to Howard and sought emergency care for him, as well as the many friends and The Summit Church family for their outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
