James David Moore Sr.

James D. Moore "Jim", 85, of Conway, Ark., passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 17 surrounded by his family. He was born in Charleston, S.C. on February 09, 1930 to Ruby and Arthur Murray. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Ann Ussery-Moore. Jim is best known to family and friends as "GranGran" and was an avid Razorback fan who enjoyed following the HOGS to ballgames, tournaments, and watching them on TV. "GranGran" lived to spend time with his family. He leaves behind two sons, David Moore, Jr (Kathy Aska-Moore) of Conway and Ken Moore (Kimberly Lambert-Moore) of Bryant. Four granddaughters were the highlight of his life- Jamie Renee Moore, Kimberly Ann Justice, Mackenzie Nicole Moore, and Taylor Leigh Moore. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bro. Tom New officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
