Margaret (Peggy) Marie Williams

Margaret (Peggy) Marie Williams, 96, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 at Crown Point Nursing and Rehab in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Margaret was born in Carlinville, Illinois on October 20, 1918, a daughter of the late Emily (Standridge) and William O'Neill. She spent her life as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and worked as an operator for Illinois Bell. Margaret was united in the marriage to the late Orville H. Williams on April 18, 1941. She was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church, served on the Parish Council as President, served on the Board of Directors of Hill High Resort, member of St. Mary's Ladies Guild, in the mid 90's was runner up in the Ms. Senior White River Pageant, square dancer, loved to play bridge and she was the founder of Telecare. Margaret is survived by two daughters, Dianne FitzGerald and husband Thomas of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Jeannine Lewandowski and husband the late Irvin Lewandowski of Barrington, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Lori Abate and husband Alfredo of Elgin, Illinois, Lynn Smith and husband Mark of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Leigh Stevens and husband Chris of Roselle, Illinois, Michael FitzGerald of Belvidere, Illinois, TJ FitzGerald and wife Nicole of Roselle, Illinois, Donya Turasky of Bartlett, Illinois, Jennifer Pazour and husband Josh of Colorado and Matthew Lewandowski and wife Mandy of Barrington, Illinois; and fifteen great grandchildren, Rhiannon and Evan Abate, Courtney FitzGerald, Dillon and Hailey Stevens, McKenzie and Anthony FitzGerald, Tyler and Gavin FitzGerald, Tyler and Katie Turasky, Victoria and Vivica Lewandowski, Indira and Natasha Pazour. Memorials preferred to St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church, 1002 First Street, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas 72512 or Ursuline Academy - Kirkwood, Mo., 341 Sappington Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63122. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 21, 2015, beginning at 5:00 PM with a Vigil at 7 p.m. at Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service Chapel, 903 Third Street, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas 72512. Mass will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 beginning at 9 a.m. at St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church, 1002 First Street, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas with Father Nazarus Maduba officiating. Interment will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine, Illinois. Arrangements entrusted to Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
