James Richard Philpott

James Philpott, 67 year old resident of Decatur, Ark., died June 18, 2015 in his home. Born June 19, 1947 in Decatur, Ark., he was the son of Ben Philpott and Goldie (Rutherford) Philpott. James worked as a roofer and was a long time resident of the Decatur area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Goldie Philpott, and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Rick Philpott and Linda Murray of Decatur, Ark., and James Philpott and wife Linda of Siloam Springs, Ark.; four brothers, Lannie Philpott and wife Linda, Lonnie Philpott and wife Barbara, Dean Philpott and wife Ann, and Dwight Philpott and wife Danna; two sisters, Wilma Hayes and husband Carl, and Carol Miller; and two granddaughters, Sabra Philpott and Alicia Philpott.
