Ilean J. Stowers

Ilean J. Stowers, 81, of Goshen, died June 24, 2015 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born June 30, 1933 in Laville, W. Va. to Addison and Ida Mullins Payne. She was retired from Campbell Soup Company and from Guardian Angel Daycare. She was a member of New Life Tabernacle Church. She was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan. She married Luster Stowers on May 1, 1952. Survivors include two sons, Ricky (Elizabeth) of Goshen and Timmy (Terri) of Burley, Idaho.; one daughter, Sandy (Vernon) Beck of Goshen; three sisters, Margaret Stowers of Gainesville, Ga., Earnie Dotson of Alkol, W. Va. and Glennie Egnor of Beloit, Ohio.; six grandsons, Braxton, Travis, Adam, Nick, Clay and Luke; two granddaughters, Hollie and Racheal; seven great-grandsons; and four great-granddaughters; also her best friend Betty McNew of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at Beard's Chapel with Reverend John Martin officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
