Carl "Buddie" LaForce

Rev. Carl "Buddie" LaForce, 85, of Searcy after 50 years of proclaiming his risen Savior as a Missionary Baptist Minister went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was born January 24, 1930 in Alicia, Arkansas to the late Maud and Bertie (Hooten) LaForce. Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served in the Korean Conflict. He fought with the 5th Air Force division and achieved the rank of Sergeant. Carl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wanda (Benton) LaForce; one son, Dwayne LaForce and wife, Belinda of Searcy; two grandchildren, Matt LaForce, wife, Fran of Searcy, and Lauren Brown, husband, Robb of Searcy; four great-grandchildren, Cannon and Colt LaForce; Holden and Parker Brown; one brother, Verlon LaForce, wife, Ardean of Wichita, Kansas. In addition to his parents Carl was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia LaForce Rousann, and Lois LaForce Parsons; and five half-sisters, Belle, Ethel, Lena, Audrey, and Odean. Visitation will be Saturday, June 27th from 6-8 p.m. at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
