Alvis Von James Jr. of Little Rock started walking the streets of gold with our Lord and Savior on June 23, 2015. Von was a 1996 graduate of McClellan High School, was a Jr. Rollin Razorback basketball player, Jr. bowler and enjoyed wheelchair races. He was an avid Razorback, Yankee and Packers fan. He enjoyed watching his favorites on TV. Von was born with Spina Bifida, but that never stopped him from living life to the fullest. Von was preceded in death by grandparents, Von and Bertha Smith James, Aaron Sr. and Edith Ballard Seay. Survivors include his parents, Alvis Von and Barbara Jo James; sister, Edith Ann Gross (Ricky); niece, Michaela Aaron Graham; nephews, Auston and Anthony Graham; and his Lil princess great niece, Havon Aaron Marie Graham; uncles; Larry Kell and Leon James; aunts, Brenda Hughes, Carla Duncan and Beverly Johnson; and a host of cousins, family and friends. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Celebration of life will be held at Grace Church in Hensley, Ark., on Saturday, June 27, at 10:30 a.m. with Brother Tommy Jones officiating. Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. View Cemetery in Cave City with Brother Charlie Osburn officiating. Arrangements provided by Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
