Bella Brandt Levy passed away on June 24th in Little Rock, Ark. Bella means beautiful and Bella was beautiful in every way. She was born in Selatfina, Hungary in 1920, and emigrated to the U.S. as an infant with her parents, Sarah and Harry, and her brother, Sam, all of whom preceded her in death. She and Manford loved their community of Maumelle where they have resided for 29 years. She has been a devoted, beloved and generous member of Congregation B'nai Israel for many years, and an active leader of the Jewish Federation of Arkansas, and past president of Arkansas Hadassah, and her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. Her most memorable experiences were the trips she and Manford made to Israel and around the USA on behalf of Hadassah. A funeral service will be held at Temple B'nai Israel, 3700 N. Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, AR 72212 on Thursday, July 2nd , at 10 a.m., followed by interment, in the Temple's section of Oakland Jewish Cemetery.
