George Isaac Wilson, age 82, of Cabot passed away June 25, 2015 at North Little Rock with his loving family at his side. He was born September 24, 1932 in Mayflower, Ark., to Willie Wilson and Hazel Batchler. He was raised by Alfred and Sally LeMay. He served four years in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, spending 18 months in Japan. He had a dairy farm and was a bookkeeper for E.L. Bailey Company in Cabot. Later he ran his own Mobile Home Sales, Car Sales, and Construction Company. He was a Charter member of Country Chapel Church at Sylvania, where he was an ordained elder and played the organ. He loved gospel music and enjoyed going to Woodlawn, and nursing homes with different groups, playing guitar, and singing. He was a member of Gideon International. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Sally LeMay, and their children, Elva Kennedy, Audrey Travis, Corine Waller, and Mack LeMay. Also, brothers Abraham, Calvin, Melvin, Edward and Everette Wilson, and one sister Alta Dennis. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rebecca Eagle Wilson; son Steve Wilson and wife Susan of Cabot; daughter Brenda Davidson and husband Roger of Beebe; grandchildren Jamie Davidson, Clint Davidson and wife Julie of Beebe, and Michelle Wilson of Arkadelphia; great-grandchildren Alicea, Lane, Abby, and Jackson of Beebe; one sister, Margaret Carlisle of Cabot, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation is Saturday June 27, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Chapel in Cabot. Services are Sunday June 28, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Country Chapel Church in Sylvania.
