Carolyn Sue "Suzy" McCool Cotham, age 69. Born July 16, 1945 in Tuckerman, Ark., to Jim Berry McCool and Patricia Lucille Mitchell McCool. Suzy died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at home in Scott, Ark. after succumbing to ALS. She is survived by her husband, William H. Cotham. Together they were the founders and original owners of "Cotham's Country Store" restaurant (home of the famous "hubcap hamburger"), which received national acclaim in such publications as Southern Living Magazine. She was also survived by her son, Neil Cotham and wife Maggie; her sisters, Merle Lee McCool Dyke and husband Wallace, Norris Anne McCool Neighbors and husband Bill; brother, James Mitchell Winningham and wife Diane; and sister-in-law, Helen McCool; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Suzy was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jack McCool, Mac McCool; and sister, Zadie Jo McCool Dilday. Known for her great compassion, she will be missed by numerous friends in Arkansas and other states. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30 at 10 a.m. Both will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark. 72117.
