Cort served his country as a Corporal in the 429th Bombardment Squadron during World War II before returning to his bride to begin their life journey together. He made a career of sales and was a loving father and "Grampy". His greatest job in life was to "take care of that little lady" which he did with relentless love and devotion. He finished his task on April 8 by holding her hand and singing to her as she left this life to await him in Heaven. His greatest wish was to join her and his Lord. The family wishes to thank his wonderful nurses and caregivers at the Lakes at Maumelle for their endless patience and loving care. They would also like to thank the amazing team from Gentiva Hospice for the support and love that they gave him during this past year and the loss of the love of his life. We will ever remember each of you with love. Services will be held on Friday July 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Maumelle Church of Christ officiated by Mr. Nick Valls.
