Ola M Cummings

Mrs. Ola M. Cummings, 93, of Malvern, Ark., passed away Thursday, June 25 at her home. She was born Dec. 8, 1921 to the late Howard and Rosie Buckley in Shady Grove, Ark. Her husband, J. R. Cummings, of 63 years, preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by siblings: Nolan Buckley, Nathaniel Barton, Howard Buckley, Jr., Roy Lee Buckley, Clinton Buckley, Flossie Thomas, and James Buckley. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Betty M. (Lawrence) Samuel of Malvern, Ark.; four sons: John L. Cummings of Houston, Texas; John H. (Erma) Cummings of Little Rock, Ark.; Roger Lee Cummings of Houston, Texas; and Steve (Diana) Cummings of Houston, Texas; siblings: Hezy (Evelyn) Barton of Okolona, Ark. and Mae Ella Dyer of Flint, Mich.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Deliverance Temple COGIC where Elder Larry Babb is Pastor, 400 North Main Street, Malvern, Ark. Viewing will be from 10-10:45 a.m., and the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Elder Ronald Wilkerson Officiating. The family will be at 104 South Walco Road, Malvern, Ark.
