John Edward Rolen

John Edward Rolen, 81, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015. He was born June 30, 1933 in Marshall, Ark. to the late Page Edward & Leo (Boyd) Rolen. John was a veteran who served with the U.S. Navy and U.S.A.F. retiring with the U.S. Air Force. After retirement he began working with U.S. Marshals Service and retired as Chief of the Space, Transportation and Communication Division. John was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Naomi June (McCarty) Rolen and a sister, Louise (Rolen) Pack. Survivors include his children, Deborah Anne Rolen of Toledo, Ohio; John Michael Rolen of El Cajon, Calif.; Stephen Edward Rolen and wife Karen Ruth of Benton, Ark.; Joann Gayle Rolen of Plano, Texas; and grand-daughter, Shanna Dawn Rolen of Benton, Ark.. Visitation will be Monday 5 to 8 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, Hot Springs, Ark. There will be a private family graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Okla.
