James Aaron Carter

James Aaron Carter, 89, of Jacksonville, died February 17, 2015 in Moreno Valley, California. Born September 17, 1925 in Beebe, Arkansas, he was the son of John and Exie Taylor Carter. He was retired from the United States Army and McDonnell Douglas Corp. Survivors include his wife, Linda Carter; step-children, Yolanda and Aaron Slaughter, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, 1017 Ray Rd., Jacksonville, AR 72076 with Rev. Joseph Edwards officiating. Entombment with full Military Honors will follow at Rest Hills Mausoleum.
