Josephine Aureli Tomboli, of Little Rock, passed away February 27, 2015. Born March 19, 1921 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Second and Elvira Massanelli Aureli. She was raised and received her early education in Pine Bluff. She worked as a sales representative for Tedford Drug Store for 33 years until she retired at the age of 81 years. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, St. Edwards Mothers' Sodality. She was a regular giver to the Children's Hospital, St. Vincent Building Fund, St. Jude's Research Hospital, Red Cross and many more. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Tomboli, Sr. who died January 20, 1996 at the age of 77. She had five brothers and four sisters who preceded her in daeth, Peter Aureli, Robert Aureli, Frank Aureli, Matthew Aureli, and Robert "Buddy" Aureli; five sisters, Teresa Aureli, Helen Magnini, Mattie Marconi, Rosie Cole. Survivors include two sons, Floyd Tomboli, Jr and his wife, Kim Tomboli, and Gene Tomboli and his wife, Barbara Tomboli; sister, Virginia Aureli Reginelli of Lake Village, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Ricky Tomboli, Rocky Tomboli, Tammy Pierce, Ty Tomboli and Tony Tomboli; six great-grandchildren, Christopher Freeland, Ronny Freeland, Ryan Pierce, Cody Tomboli, Kinsey Tomboli, Christian Johnston; one great-grandson, Chase Freeland, and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. this evening (Tuesday) in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Edward Catholic Church, 811 Sherman Street, Little Rock, AR 72202 with Fr. Jason Tyler as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church. The family would also like to especially thank all caregivers including St. Vincent Hospital, UAMS, Cindy with Elite Home Care, Ruby Harper, Avis Lamb and Cloe Thomas who took great care of mother at her home.
