Margaret H. Hester

Margaret H. Hester, age 71, of Lake Village, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi. She was born April 9, 1943in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the late William M. Hawkins and Dorothy Collins Hawkins. She was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Lake Village. Mrs. Hester had a positive effect on thousands of students over her 40 years at Washington School and 7 years at Carrie Stern as an educator in Greenville, Mississippi. The world will be short one great cook. Survivors, just celebrated their 50th anniversary, husband, Frank Hester, of Lake Village; 2 brothers, William M. Hawkins and wife, Suzanne, of Littler Rock, and Andy Hawkins and wife, Kim of Conway; two nieces, two nephews, eight great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Visitation from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 with Celebration of Life Service following at 2 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
