Alfred Coburn

Alfred Charles Coburn of Austin, Ark., went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2015. Al was born in Geyserville, Calif. on May 8, 1924 to the late Earnest and Ethel Coburn. Al was a long time member of the Church of Christ. He and his wife were members in several congregations where Al served as a minister, a deacon, and twice and elder. Al was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Faye. He is survived by his sons, Chuck of Austin, Ark., James of Victoria, Texas, their wives Sharon and Juli; brothers, Bob of Harrisburg, Ill., Ernie of Eugene, Ore.; sisters, Elsie Northen of Napa, Calif., Lois Berry of Visailia, Calif.; four grandchildren, Jeff, Jared, Carrie, Jenny, and 10 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at the Cabot Church of Christ on March 7, 2015 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the African Missionary work of David and Jenna Reese through Cloverdale Church of Christ in Searcy, Ark.
