Rosa Smith

Rosa Inez Smith, age 76, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She was born June 27, 1938 in Lonsdale, Arkansas. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Marie Hunnicutt; sister, Brenda Martin and a brother, Johnny Hunnicutt. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Smith; three sons, Terry White (Toogie Walker), Kendall Smith (Judy) and Todd Smith; three brothers, Lonnie Hunnicutt, Bob Garner and Jerald Garner; five grandchildren, T.J. White (Jessica), Sydni Williams (Steven Varhalla), Nathan White, Colton Smith (Bailey Jones) and Blake Smith and one great-granddaughter, Hallie Claire White. Pallbearers will be T.J. White, Nate White, Colton Smith, Blake Smith, Steven Varhalla and Chad Ray. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 8 at Ashby Funeral Home.
