Thomas William Smith Jr.

Thomas William Smith Jr., 33, of McGehee, Ark. died Wednesday March 4, 2015. Thomas was born November 18, 1981 in Greenville, Miss. He received his Associates Degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He was Pest Control Operator. Thomas loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger. He also enjoyed making muscadine jelly with his grandmother. Thomas loved his family especially his nephews. He was a student of the Bible. Thomas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doyle E. Lawrence and Edric John Smith and Laura Smith and brother Baby Boy Smith. Survivors include his parents Tommy and Jane Smith of McGehee, Ark.; grandmother, Norma B. Lawrence of Hamburg, Ark.; brother, Nathan (Heather) Smith of McGehee, Ark.; nephews, Nathan Garrett Smith and Andrew Smith. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Jones officiating. Burial will follow at McGehee Cemetery.
