Virginia Hobby

Virginia Hobby, age 82, of Benton, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015. She was born July 4, 1932 in Benton, Arkansas. Mrs. Hobby was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Dora McClendon; her husband of 33 years, J. C. Hobby and a sister, Geneva Collins. She is survived by two sons, Terry Hobby (Gayle) and Randy Hobby (Una); five grandchildren, Rick Hobby, Casey Noel (David), Cayla Harrell (Chris), Melissa Jackson (Steve) and Pam Volner (Brian) and 11 great-grandchildren, Keaton, Clara, Mason, Jovie, Grey, Fin, Carley, Camaron, Scarlett, Everett and Isla. Pallbearers will be Rick Hobby, Dave Noel, Chris Harrell, Steve Jackson, Brian Volner and Pete Hull. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 9 at Ashby Funeral Home.
