Teddy Gene Johnson

Teddy Gene Johnson, 80, of Benton, passed away March 3, 2015. He was born Jan. 24, 1935 in Shady Point, Okla. to the late Paul and Helen Stogner Johnson. Teddy attended the University of Tahlequah in Oklahoma and worked at Powell-Satterfield as a Bond Broker. After retiring he went into sales, Teddy grew up in Shady Point and his favorite hobbies were OU Football, Fox News and spending time with his grandkids and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Johnson; sister, Virginia McDaniel; and brother, Bobby Edward Johnson. Teddy is survived by his son, Paul Alexander Robertson and wife, Lindsey of Benton; daughter, Donjere Ankney and husband, Jesse of Benton; nephew, Scott McDaniel of Springfield, Mo.; niece, Vicki Jones of Jones, Okla.; grandchildren, Madeline Layton, Benton, Noah Layton, Conway, Laine Harris, Benton, Alley Robertson, Benton, Christian Robertson, Benton, Avery Ankney, Alexis Ankney and Andrew Ankney all of Benton.
