Walter Dabbs

Walter Dabbs, 96, of England, Ark. went to be with the Lord Saturday March 7, 2015. He was born July 19, 1918 in Taylor, Ark. Walter was of the Baptist faith and was a machinist for Monsanto Chemical Company. Walter was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Morris Dabbs. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Dabbs; three sons: Jim Boatwright (Pam) of Independence, Mo., Jerry Strother of Hot Springs, Ark., Don Strother (Susan) of Sawyer, Texas; one daughter: Sandra Jackson (Ronnie) of England, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and extended family. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015 at Harmony Cemetery in Taylor, Ark. Roller England Funeral Home is in charge of the services. www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
