Cindy Wales Henryson, 62, lost her battle with ALS at home in Bella Vista, Arkansas on 27 February 2015. From birth she was an Air Force Dependent, living and attending schools abroad and in multiple states in America. Cindy graduated with honors, from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She practiced in Indiana, Nebraska and Iowa Cindy spent almost three decades with the Convalescent Home for Children (now Childserve) in Johnston, Iowa. Cindy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael and son, Alex of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Also surviving are her parents, Harry and Catherine Kimball and her sister, Bonnie (Johnny) Sisemore, all of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Two nephews, Erik and Scott Bayerl of Bentonville, Arkansas and a brother-in-law John Ferguson of Scottsdale, Arizona also survive. Cindy enjoyed family, travel, ornamental plants – flowers, history, antiques and a role as an Iowa farm wife. Cindy had a warm, compassionate way with all children and maintained a positive outlook even with her battle with ALS. She demonstrated and lived a strong Religious Faith. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 101 Kingsland Road, Bella Vista, Arkansas 72714 at 1: p.m., March 14, 2015. Memorial contributions may be made to Childserve, 5406 Merle Hay Road, Johnston, Iowa 50131. A special place is reserved by the family for Amy, a personal caregiver and the Mercy Home Health Team that provided professional, compassionate care for almost three years.
