Virginia "Arlene" Branham Ferguson

Virginia "Arlene" Branham Ferguson, age 91 died March 7, 2015 at Crestpark Nursing Home in DeWitt, Ark. Arlene was born on March 5, 1924 in Gillett, Ark. to Spencer Vance Branham and Ethel Stinson Branham. She attended Gillett High School and was a homemaker. Arlene was a member of the Gillett United Methodist Church, Gillett Extension Homemakers Club and Gillett Leisure Club. She enjoyed hunting and fishing. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters: Bonnie Reed and Lorraine White Simpson, her daughter, Fayrene Herman and grandson Robert Henry Rustmann. She married William Walton Ferguson on July 2, 1942. They were married for 61 years until his death on September 28, 2003. Survivors are her daughter Bonnie (Bob) Rustmann; grandchildren: Brian (Patti) Rustmann, Tonya Rustmann, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; Michael Herman of Epps, La.; and Jason (Tina) Herman of Morrilton, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, friends and her loving caregiver Becki Weinrich of Gillett. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11th at Gillett United Methodist Church with burial at Gillett Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home, DeWitt.
