Dixie F. Allred, 73, of White Hall died Sunday, March 8, 2015. She was born January 2, 1942 in Cleveland County, to Jasper and Willie Vera Roberts Miller. She received her early education in Rison and White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School. Mrs. Allred was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she also worked for 35 years, retiring as Day Care Director. She was also a member and Board member of the Shepherd Center, Lakeside Activity and Fun Club, and Simmons Classic Club. Mrs. Dixie loved spending time with grandkids, while enjoying sunset cruises on the lake and traveling. Survivors include her husband, Earl Allred, daughter, Michelle Allred Rhodes and husband, Jim, of Conway ,son, Michael Allred and fiancee Cheri Poulos of Hot Springs, , three grandchildren, Michael Alexander Allred of Royal Oak, Michigan, Kendall Faith Rhodes and Landon Jameson Rhodes, of Conway; three sisters, Jetta Vea Stokes of Rison, Shirley Creasey of Pine Bluff, and Pebble Wallace of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill and Morris Miller and a sister , Patsy Rawls. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, with Reverends Paul Williams, Pam Estes and Mitch Tapson officiating. Burial will be private.
