Detrater "Tracy" Campbell, 67, of Little Rock, born January 6, 1948 in England, Arkansas to Willie Scales and Christine Campbell along with Earnestine Campbell Fields who raised him as her own from the age of nine months following her twin sister's death departed this earthly life on March 6, 2015. Tracy graduated from Woodstock High School in Woodstock, Tenn. He proudly served in the United States Army where he fought in the Vietnam War. He was an active member of Grace Temple A.M.E. Zion in Little Rock, Ark. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Campbell, maternal grandparents, Ashton and Emma Campbell, paternal grandparents, Willie and Mary Scales, in-laws, Henry and Lola Hite, sons, Detrater Almeko Campbell and Raymond Campbell, one brother, two uncles and four aunts. Tracy leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of over 43 years, Dianne Hite Campbell; children, Iris (Tray) Buggs of Raleigh, North Carolina, Kauron (Latonya) Mayo, Tereasha Campbell of Memphis, Tenn, Yamis Campbell of Hopkinsville, Ky., Martha Ballard of Memphis, Tenn., Samantha (Dennis) Johnson of Frisco, Texas, Trellious Campbell and daughter-in-law, Lontonia Campbell; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Grace Temple A.M.E. Zion Church at 3221 S. Gaines St. on Friday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Premier Funeral Home.
