Harvey Green, Sr.

Harvey Green Sr., 79, of Cleveland, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2015. Harvey was a graduate of the historic Dunbar High School in Little Rock, Ark. He was a former member of the Rainbow Special Quartet. Harvey never met a stranger and his passion was talking. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth Green; sons, Harvey (Jennifer) Green Jr., David Scott of Cleveland, Ohio, Kenneth Green of Little Rock, Ark., Sterling (Obdulia) Boston of New York, N.Y. and Nathanial Scott of Memphis, Tenn.; Daughters, Marilyn (Larry) Clark, Evelyn Nash, Carolyn Green and J. Michelle (Anthony) Cleary all of Little Rock, Ark., Sheryl Green of Cleveland, Ohio Alice Faye Davis of Los Angeles, Calif.; mother, Evelyn Johnson of Little Rock, Ark.; brother, Robert Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Melanie Miller of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Beverly Tresvant of Little Rock, Ark.; 32 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, 11 am, at Grace Temple AMEZ Church, 3221 South Gaines St. Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Rest In Peace Memorial Park, Hensley, Ark.
