Maudie Esther Barkhimer Efird was called home after a long battle with Alzheimer Disease on March 9, 2015. She was born April 11, 1913, daughter of Thomas and Pearl Rogers Barkhimer. She was predeceased husbands, Bernie Smith, & H.F. ‘Buck' Efird, sons, Clifford & Jewel ‘JR' Smith. She is survived by sons, Thomas, Jimmy & Virgil Smith of Camden, daughter, Carolyn Blenden of Little Rock. Graveside services 11 a.m. Friday at Salem Cemetery in Bearden.
