Wayne M. Bridge, 91, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. He was born in Lake Mills, Wis. to the late Russell and Dorothy Bridge. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nadine Henchens and his son-in-law, Ted KnigntenEL. Wayne retired from GTE Phone Company in California. He was of the Methodist faith and a veteran of US Air Force. Wayne also served during World War II, flying 52 missions on a B25. He met his loving wife of 23 years on a cruise ship to Hawaii; they later married at Levy United Methodist Church on June 1, 1991. Wayne was a fun loving guy who loved to dance and smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Polly Bridge; two daughters, Ingrid Schmidt (Eric) and Kaarin KnighntenEL; two stepsons, David Freeman (Valerie) and Billy Freeman (Kim); grandchildren, Hannah and Anya Schmidt, Beau Freeman (Meagan), Summer and Ashley Freeman; and a great-grandchild due in August; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2015 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). Memorial service at 3:30 p.m. to follow the visitation at the funeral home. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Research Center, Rockefeller Cancer Institute, 4301 W.
