Jed Hollan, 71, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. A native of Wynne, Ark., he had enjoyed living in Jonesboro for the last two years. Born on October 18, 1943, Jed was raised in Wynne, where he was a successful businessman, owning Levco Manufacturing for 37 years. He later retired to the Little Red River in Heber Springs where he managed the Little Red Fly Shop and was a fly fishing guide. He loved crossword puzzles, playing pool, corvettes, watching all his grandsons play baseball and was an accomplished musician. Survived by his wife of 50 years; Pam Hollan of the home; daughter Shannon Bethune and husband Lee of Jonesboro; sons Mark Hollan and wife Karla of St Petersburg, Fla., John Hollan and wife Deah of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; parents Ed and Sis Hollan of Solana Beach, Calif.; sister Shannon Peck and husband Scott of Solana Beach, Cal., and three grandsons, Austin and Derek Bethune and Ty Hollan. He will also be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A casual celebration of his Life will be held at the home of Lee and Shannon Bethune, 4265 Weldon Cove Jonesboro. (In the Barrington Park subdivision) on Sunday March 15, 2015 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. There will be no visitation or services.
