John Graham Reid

John Graham Reid died Monday, March 9, 2015, at Parkway Village, Little Rock. Born on January 30, 1923, in San Diego, California, he graduated from the University of Redlands (B.A.) and University of Southern California (M.A.). After serving in the U.S. Navy in World War II he married Mary Graham on October 25, 1945. In 1952 John and Mary went to Japan as missionaries with The Evangelical Alliance Mission, where they served for 35 years, retiring in 1987. John is survived by his wife, Mary, his two children, Daniel Reid and LouAnne Copeland, four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and his sister, Mary Jo Needham. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., April 11, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1 Covenant Drive, Little Rock. A reception/visitation will follow. John will be buried in the Foreign Cemetery in Yokohama, Japan.
