John Sellars

John Sellars, age 60, of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015. He was born August 2, 1954 in Ramstein, Germany to Everett and Anna Heinze Sellars. Mr. Sellars was employed with the Arkansas Democrat Gazette for 20 years as a printer. He retired in 2006. John loved to fish with his brother, Mike and was a huge Razorback fan. His biggest passion was helping coach his two daughters in softball while supporting their other extracurricular activities. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. John was preceded in death by his father; brother, Michael Sellars; paternal grandparents, Walter and Cimiya Sellars; maternal grandparents, Johom and Anna Heinz. He is survived by his mother, Anna Sellars Johnson of Jacksonville; two daughters, Jennifer (Jay) Murrell, Mandy (Jason) Wolff both of Cabot; two grandchildren, Mason and Lainey Murrell; uncles, Klaus and Hans Heinze of Ramstein, Germany; numerous cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
