Geraldine Sinkey

Geraldine Furr Stage Sinkey, of North Little Rock, born August 23, 1923 to Newton Randolph and Muncie Lavonia Furr, passed away March 16, 2015, at her home surrounded by family, at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 41 years, Elmer Virgil Sinkey, and by four siblings, Eugene R. Furr, Euda Mae Furr Forrest, Donald Jackson Furr, James N. Furr "Rassie". She is survived by three children, Carolyn Sue Stage Kirby, Jimmy Don Stage and Cookie "Marilyn Jo" Stage Blythe; three step-children, James Elmer Sinkey, Carolyn Sanchez, Elmer Virgil Sinkey Jr. She lived with a sparkle in her eye and a dance in her step and will be remembered dearly, particularly by her grandchildren, Jerry, Karen, Daniel and Nathan; and by numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, March 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock.
