Janet Elaine Bennett Adams

Janet Elaine Bennett Adams, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away March 18, 2015. She was born September 30, 1953, to Wilton and Louise Bennett in Guymon, Oklahoma. Janet grew up in Guymon and later moved to the Oklahoma City area and then to Fayetteville. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Adams, her father, Wilton H. Bennett, and two sisters, Phyllis Manos and Sharon Chesnut. She is survived by her daughter Ashley Murray and husband Brian, her grandson Hunter Combs and granddaughter Kambree Murray. Ashley was the joy of Janet's life. They had an unfailing love for each other and were truly best friends. Ashley will continue Janet's fun sense of humor. There was also no better "Nana" than what Janet was to Hunter and Kambree. She loved them more than life itself. Janet is also survived by her mother, Louise Bennett, her brother, Joe Bennett, and his wife Cindy, her sister, Vicki Snowden, and her husband Neal, her brother-in-law, Craig Chesnut, and many nieces and nephews. Janet will be dearly missed by her family and all whose heart she touched. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel, 855 S. Happy Hollow Road, Fayetteville, Ark. The funeral service for Janet will also be at Beard's Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 23 at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 24 at 3 p.m. at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Okla.
