Aron Nathaniel Romero

Aron Nathaniel Romero, age 33, of Centerton, passed away March 17, 2015. He was born in Eureka Springs on June 24, 1981. Aron was raised in the Harrison area. He enlisted in the Arkansas Army National Guard and aided in relief efforts after Hurricane Katrina. In December 2005 he was deployed to Iraq with the C-Battery, 1st Battalion, 142nd Field Artillery and after spending 11 months in theater, he returned to Northwest Arkansas. In 2008, he began working with the Northwest Arkansas Military Funeral Honor Guard, becoming an area coordinator of the program in 2009. In this capacity, he proudly served hundreds of families of deceased veterans by providing military honors. Survivors include his beloved wife of seven years, Veronica (Hernandez) Romero; his daughters, Alexis Romero of Jasper, Raven Romero, Elena Romero and Julia Martinez, all of the home; parents, Loren and Linda Hauge of Harrison; brothers, Mikel Brown of Marionwoods, Mo., David Brown of Fayetteville, Daniel Hauge of Harrison; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service, with full military funeral honor detail, will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Catalyst Church, 2812 E Central Ave in Bentonville with inurnment following at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
