Mary Dee Griffin

MARY DEE GRIFFIN, 85, of Little Rock passed away on Sunday, March 22. She was born on July 5, 1929 in Keo, Ark. to Carl J. and Hazel V. (Core) Comer. Mary Dee was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her home and gardening. She was a longtime member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Richard W. Griffin, Sr., of Little Rock; daughters, Patricia Ann "Patti" Huitt of Little Rock, Carla Dee Griffin of Overland Park, Kan.; son, Richard "Bo" W. Griffin, Jr. (Patty) of Little Rock; grandchildren, Heather Eldridge (Bradley) of Lawrence, Kan., Charles "Griff" Huitt (Tiffany) of Little Rock, Mary Carla Whitaker (Shaun) of Haskell, and Laura K. Thomas (Blake) of Little Rock; brother, Carl W. Comer (Betty) of Paron; seven great-grandsons, Dylan, Haydenn, Max, Vance, Jaxson, Griffin and Charlie. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24 at Little Rock Funeral Home with Reverend David Robinson officiating.
