Amanda Alice Russell Harrison

Amanda Alice Russell Harrison, died on March 21, 2015 at the age of 90. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Dr. Patrick Edward Harrison Sr. of Brinkley, Ark., her sons: retired architectural engineer Patrick Edward Harrison Jr. of Cosby, Tennessee; Dr. Michael Stephen Harrison, dentist, of Hot Springs, Ark. and daughter Virginia Jane Harrison, teacher of Brinkley, Ark. She has four grandchildren: Michael Deere Harrison, of Brinkley, Ark.; Dr. Stephen Harrison, dentist, of Hot Springs, Kevin Harrison of Bentonville, Ark., Kristen Harrison of Helena, Ark. and four great grandchildren: Callahan, Scarlet, Leia and Ryan Harrison. She was active in the community: Cub Scout den mother; Cotillion Club member; Bridge Club; Presbyterian Church-elder, clerk of session; Girl Scout cookie chairman, an avid golfer-participating and winning tournaments and teaching others to play golf. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Brinkley.
