Allan Leon Pershall, 60, of Cedarville and Evansville passed away March 24, 2015. He was welcomed to this world on January 27, 1955 by Millie and Allen Pershall, and his sister, Janie. He is survived by his sons, Dillon Hobbs & Daniel Turpin and their mother, Debra Parmenter-Pershall; his brother-in-law, Jim Curtis & his wife Debra; his niece, Gina Curtis Clark, her husband, Marty, and sons, Paxton & Hudson; his nephew, Chris Curtis and his children, Sam, Casey & Wes; and his uncle Richard Pershall. Leon valued his family and friends over everything else in life. He never met a stranger and was loved and valued by many. Leon was big and tough on the outside, but had a huge heart. He was a phenomenal son to Millie & Allan, a solid rock and constant companion to Janie, a tremendous father to Dillon and Daniel, and a loyal & generous friend to many. Leon was an announcer at Crawford County Speedway and had a life-long passion for going to the races with his friends. He also loved the outdoors and had a green thumb. Leon always kept a garden, loved to fish and dreamed of selling it all and living off the land in Alaska. Yet his family and friends were always more important to him. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 30 at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark. There will not be a visitation or grave side service. Pallbearers will be Dillon Hobbs, Greg Preston, Chris Marion, Marc Maness, Thurman Blanton and Waymon Harris. Honorary Pallbearers are Daniel Turpin, Wyatt Maness, Jim Price, John Stand and Anderson Terry. Online guestbook: www.luginbuel.com.
