Billy Lee Mantooth, 85, of Sherwood, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Billy was born July 31, 1929 to Homer Sr. and Marie Mantooth. He worked for Coleman Dairy for several years prior to joining the family owned plumbing business in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hulett Mantooth of almost 67 years; sons: Gerald Brockman (Sheila), Steven Mantooth (Nell), David Mantooth (Mary), Gary Mathooth (Tamara) and Earle Mantooth (Rona). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 14 great-grand children; two brothers, Opie Mantooth (DeLois) and Homer Jr. Mantooth (Margaret). Pops loved to go fishing at Peckerwood Lake, working in his garden and spending time with his family. He loved telling fish stories. He was a dedicated husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, brother and friend who loved his family deeply. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. His favorite saying was "In a 100 years, it won't matter." We love you Pops. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Rest Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, March 30, 2015 at Rest Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Richard "Ricky" Lee officiating.
