Burton Dennis Pate Jr.

Burton Dennis (B.D.) Pate, Jr., 89, formerly of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Born June 27, 1925 in McComb, Mississippi, he was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in France and Germany. He retired from Allstate Insurance in 1987. Preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Adele Pate, sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Doug Hance, son-in-law, Milton Dodson and daughter-in-law, Penny Pate, he is survived by his son, Dennis (Linda) Pate of Little Rock, daughter, Cheryl Dodson of Plano, Texas, son, Glen Pate of Mt. View, Arkansas, and daughter, Kerri (Jeff) Damschroder of Spring, Texas; niece, Jamie Lou Nichols of New Mexico; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be this morning, Friday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct.
