Marie Hiegel Pinter

Marie Hiegel Pinter, 95, of Conway, Ark., passed away on March 24, 2015. She was born on March 11, 1920 in Conway to "Jake" and Catherine (Moix) Hiegel. Marie graduated from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and also served during World War II in the United States Navy. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. She is survived by her two daughters, Sara Proctor (Charles) and Melanie Holland (Gary); seven grandchildren, John, Christen, James, Jake, Cara, Chad, Eric; great-grandchildren, Grace and Grier; and her daughter-in-law, Lei Pinter. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. Pinter whom she married on May 9, 1950; two sons, Alan and Louis Pinter; five brothers, Alfred, Joseph, Edward, Louis and Arthur Hiegel. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway from 5-6 p.m. with a Rosary to follow.
