Cora C. Stem

Cora C. Stem, age 81, of Jacksonville passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015. She was born October 12, 1933 in Rutherford, Tennessee to the late Leonard Wood and Mallie Wood. She was preceded in death by her son Ernest Stem. She was owned and operated a janitorial service for over 40 years. She was an avid gardener and loved animals. She is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Miller, one daughter, Evelyn Brannon and her husband Chester, one sister Edna Farmer of Smyrna, Tenn. and one brother Leonard Wood of Smyrna, Tenn. one grandson, Ernest Stem Jr. and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
