Gary Louis Thaxton

Gary Louis Thaxton, age 67, of Romance, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 30, 2015. He was born in Gideon, Missouri to the late Louis and Alma Terry Thaxton. Gary loved to fish and hunt as well as enjoying animals. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Linda Crowell Thaxton of Romance; son Jon (Sharon) Thaxton of Sherman, Illinois; one sister Carolyn (Mitchell) Marlow of Cabot; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Thomas Funeral Chapel Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. Graveside service will be held Monday May 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
